The EMDR Institute is nearly as old as EMDR therapy itself, having been founded by Francine Shapiro, Ph.D--the psychologist who developed EMDR. The Institute is the source for the most trustworthy information on EMDR. It is also the training organization that teaches EMDR as developed by Dr. Shapiro, and as informed by the most current research. As I am involved in teaching EMDR with the Institute, I'm pretty sure on this!
